The Adoption Fee for our DOGS, starting at $100.00, may vary based on age, breed, training and health needs.


The Adoption Fee for KITTENS/CATS is $100.00 for Adult Cats, Kittens are $125.00 each, 2 for $200.00.

All Quincy Animal Shelter residents are current on vaccinations appropriate for their age before being cleared for adoption. All of our animals are spayed/neutered prior to being adopted. Kittens are spayed/neutered when they reach a minimum weight of 2 lbs. and are at least 8 weeks old.

 

All adopters must agree:

Fees and Donations: Your non-refundable adoption fee helps us to continue our high level of care for all the animals, and includes a FREE visit ($40 value) to VCA South Shore Animal Hospital (Quincy or Weymouth, Massachusetts).

About Us

The Quincy Animal Shelter is a 100% volunteer-run organization. The Shelter has NO PAID STAFF and relies completely on our volunteers and the community for support. Incorporated in November 1999 as a non-profit Massachusetts charity, we are also a recognized charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. Since 1999 the Quincy Animal Shelter has placed more than 5,000 cats and dogs into loving and forever homes through out MA and New England.
