PLEASE HELP - LOST BIRD - "TOOTCHIE" - Quincy, MA.
Posted: July 29th, 2010
I lost my bird Tootchie 7/25/10 sometime in the afternoon in Quincy, Mass.
Tootchie is a female bird almost 8 years old, tame and very hungry about now.
Tootchie was last seen flying from me in Quincy, Mass. 02169.
She is yellow with gray print feathers and she has all her flight feathers.
She was very spoiled. Tootchie has a long bald spot down her stomach (that's how she was born) and a tag on her right leg.
I never thought I'd lose her so I'm sorry to say I didn't write the numbers down, however I think there's a number 7 or 5 in it and they might be repeated.
If you find her please call me anytime (978) 601-2656. or email me at
seliyah9501@rocketmail.com.
I've searched everywhere for her and she's in dire need of food and water at this point.
If you find her please contact me immediately. Thank you. I miss my baby!

PLEASE HELP - LOST DOG - *** LEVY ***
Posted: March 3rd, 2010
I am missing my female basset hound. I was at the park with my two dogs, who were on leashes and we were attacked by a pitbull who's owner let it run free. My basset hound, Levy, was attacked and so scared and broke off her collar. She took off running - I chased her for awhile but lost sight of her. This was around 6:20 PM on March 2nd, 2010. I stayed out till 1:30 AM looking for her with the help of a lot of people. The park was located right by North Quincy T station. She is a one year old puppy, and is red and white and has freckles, about 40-45 lbs, low to the ground. She has no collar or leash on. She is very timid/shy, but not a mean bone in her body. She has never been out on her own before, so I'm sure she is scared and confused. Please call with any information, and feel free to call at ANY time. My cell phone number is 857-334-9226. Thank you, Kellie.

PLEASE HELP - FOUND CAT - FENNO STREET AREA
Posted: January 8th, 2010
I wonder if someone has lost a cat in Wollaston that doesn't fit any of the descriptions of the lost cats already on your list. Every night for the past week, this cat comes to my house and meows outside. I already have three cats and they aren't too excited about the idea of inviting in another. This cat is a long haired tiger/tabby with a lot of white fur on his or her chest. From a distance, it looks like the cat has a very big white beard. He or she seems very friendly. I get the feeling this is a lost cat, not a stray. I live in the Fenno Street area. If you think you know anything about this cat, please give me a call. My number is 781-964-9423. Thanks, Molly

PLEASE HELP - LOST CAT - *** MILLIE ***
Posted: September 25th, 2009
Our little grey female long hair cat, Millie, went missing early Sunday 9/20
between 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM in East Braintree near N. Bowditch Street/Hayward Street and Lincoln Park.
She's a very pretty cat, and her tail is extra hairy, gets a lot of things stuck in her fur there.
She is small, less than a year old. She did have a collar on with a bell that rang when she ran.
She is super-friendly and would go up to almost anyone. She has had a virus and her left eye runs a lot.
She loves to be outside, but usually comes in after a few hours. She is very curious, loves to cuddle and be around people.
We miss Millie very much and are hoping for her safe return. We just want to make sure she's not lost somewhere.
We would appreciate any information. 781-848-1065 or email:

PLEASE HELP - LOST CAT - *** BUCA ***
Hi, my name is Elizabeth, and in November of 2007 I adopted a kitten from the Quincy Animal Shelter.
Originally named Annabelle, but renamed Buca, she lived with my family and I in Weymouth until I recently moved to a single family home in Abington with my boyfriend.
In this home we're now in, she has become an escape artist.
Apparently, she had escaped on Monday morning, possibly while I was leaving for work, and I haven't been able to locate her since : (
I've contacted the VCA, Abington Animal Hospital, and have posted lost ads just about everywhere I can.
She was our little baby and I'm devastated, hoping that nothing bad has happened to her.
Since she's made it out of the house a few times, I jotted her name and phone number on a tag and attached it to a flea collar which she should have been wearing when she got out.
If you could check if she's been brought into your Shelter and/or give me any more tips for finding her, it would be greatly appreciated.
Liz - Email:
woobabans@aol.com
INFO: Buca - domestic shorthair (approx. 2 yrs. old)
Petite spayed female
Primarily black with a white chin, feet, and belly
Very friendly and not used to the outdoors : (

LOST CAT - CAPT. NEMO - About a year and a half ago, I started caring for a stray cat that had been living under cars for about three months on our West Quincy street. He was a friendly cat with scraggly, orange fur, one closed eye and no tail. No one claimed him after I reported him found to nearby Shelters and placed an ad in the Patriot Ledger. I had him neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped, and he stayed close by our home for over a year, coming in and going out as he pleased. Our family called him "Captain Nemo." Since we have several other cats, I also had him tested for FIV, for which he tested negative. Last November, Captain Nemo went missing and we haven't seen him since. I left a message with QAS at the time, contacted other Shelters, put up flyers and searched in and around our neighborhood. He was well-known and loved by many of our neighbors, but no one could give us any clue as to his whereabouts. He seemed to leave us as suddenly and mysteriously as he had appeared in 2007. I'm attaching photos of Captain Nemo. My family continues its efforts to seek closure, and find out where he may be or what may have happened to him. We would appreciate any information or assistance you may lend to us in this regard. Thank you. Marie Gaffney 617-479-4089
