Plymouth Rock Assurance Corp. Employees Open Their Hearts to Quincy Animal Shelter

As you know, we're always grateful when someone chooses to support Quincy Animal Shelter and the animals we lovingly care for each day. Thanks to the dedication of one loyal supporter in particular - Hough's Neck resident Renee Gagne - our Shelter was fortunate to recently receive a helpful donation from the employees at Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation in Boston (plymouthrock.com). As a Plymouth Rock employee herself, Renee worked closely with Team 695, the company's activities committee, to establish a special drive just for our Shelter, collecting dog and cat food, toys, beds, and over $200 in cash donations - all items from our Shelter Wish List. Needless to say, everything will go to great use, and we'll now have funds to purchase two dorm size refrigerators replacing the 2 we currently use for storing medicine and kitten food. This is reason to celebrate!

Dear Kathy and Everyone at QAS, THANK YOU so much for your help with our design process. It was wonderful getting to know you, and the work you do is inspiring and heartwarming! Our final service concept was a Cat Care Partnership that would allow Senior Citizens to either adopt a cat, or keep their pet when they wouldn't otherwise be able to by having a Shelter Volunteer go and help them in their home.
Thanks again, and all the best!
